Named after the Mindanaoan colorful boat, Project Vinta aims to generate today in Philippine history materials online. Founded as online advocacy on 13 April 2017 by Oswald Santos, Project Vinta is now a program under Project Saysay Inc. Part of this program is the Xiao Time, an online video content originally aired on PTV 4 from 2010 to 2016. It is written, narrated, and directed by historian Xiao Chua.

Aside from Project Vinta, Project Saysay remains active on social media in spreading the ideals, values, and wisdom of our great forebears. It fully supports the democratization of knowledge. It also supports Project Huni whose aim is to popularize once more forgotten musical pieces in the libraries, archives, and private collections. It shares social media platform with Project Saysay.
