Project Saysay Celebrates National Literature Month
This is the time of the year when Project Saysay sees historical texts as part of literary works mostly in a form of prose and sometimes poetry. In recognition of the literary legacies of our great men and women, Project Saysay launches its special commemorative posters online featuring excerpts from the works of Philippine literary giants and folklores.
Project Saysay's Vinta Program collaborated with Mark Anthony Salvador, Faculty of the University of Santo Tomas Senior High School, for the selection of excerpts to be featured.
Featured art works as well are the interpretation of the excerpts by Caviteño graphic artist, Jhon Gorme. He is the proprietor of Disenyo Gorme who recently joined in the Creatives Team of Project Saysay.
Through Proclamation No. 968, s. 2015, the Philippines observes Buwan ng Pantikan (National Literature Month) every April.
