Colorized War Photos Now at Camp Aguinaldo

In commemoration of the 76th Araw ng Kagitingan, "Mga Kulay ng Digmaan" ("Colors of the War") exhibit is currently at the Armed Forces of the Philippines Museum in Camp Aguinaldo, Quezon City. It will be exhibited in the said museum until the first week of May 2018.

The exhibit is a joint project of the National Historical Commission of the Philippines' Research, Publication and Heraldry Division, Project Saysay, and Philippine History in Color.

It was first exhibited from August to September 2017 at the Clark International Airport during the International Conference on the 75th Anniversary of World War II in the Philippines held in Angeles City. It was next exhibited at the Museo ni Jose Rizal in Fort Santiago, Intramuros, Manila in March 2018.

Juan Paolo Calamlam, History Researcher II of the NHCP and Project Saysay Volunteer, curated the images used from the collection of UP Diliman History Professor Ricardo Trota Jose. While Ian Christopher Alfonso, Executive Director of Project Saysay layouted the panels. Ivan Bilugan, Executive Director of Philippine History in Color, colorized the images.

The exhibit is open to public.
